Union River 'Big Bear' Campground

It's in the state park. Wonderful and accomodating people. Absolutely gorgeous! Nice view, Across the street from Lake Superior. Short walk Steps down to the beautiful sandy beach. Was a little cramped getting our 34 ft class A in the lot . Our spot was fairly level. Cozy being nestled in the trees.

This campground was amazing! Clean, large campsites which are surrounded by beautiful trees. Directly across the street from a great white sand beach of Lake Superior on which you can hunt for unique rocks. The bathroom facilities were conveniently located in the center of camp, they were clean, spacious and even had soft relaxing music playing. The location of the campground is just a short drive ( about 15 mins) to the Lake of clouds. Would definitely stay here again.

Very enjoyable campground, clean restrooms and showers, the friendly staff and guests were very nice and easy to talk with. Didn't have any issues at all, even the $5 to guarantee the site was well spent. We will definitely be back in the future and we'd recommend our friends to go here also. Glad we took a chance to go here, with plenty of hiking and waterfalls to see in he area. Didn't get to see everything we wanted but that's what future trips hold for us.
